just finished the game and its so frustrating. Everything was going great minus pissing off the old guard but the economy was up, i was passing human rights laws and getting the constitution ready to pass then it failed by one fking vote lol. After that the people started raging and rioting even though they had way more rights, we were out of the recession, and literally everything was better so i still have no idea what set them off all it said was they wanted me to resign. Then douche nozzel iosef overthrew the gov and arrested me for treason lol

MOTARS; Excellent against infantry ! Simply place them near your front behind your 1st line of Regular infantry formations When the enemy infantry stops to fire the mortars will destroy them. Some of my mortars units have over 100 kills in a single battle. 5 mortar units can devastate the enemy formations

youre missing heaps of fur traders in places, theyre quicker to build and 1 fur sells for more than a single merchant stall makes.

Now disban a bunch of your militia units and replace them with actual good units.I would probably do all the units with one chevron

Desertion gets kind of ridiculous.

You could have put more troops behind the guns. Then charge the cavalry when they rush your guns, that way your cannon get to use cannister.

I'm pretty sure you need muskets stockpiled for the build up to the NY campaign as well, I don't remember if they have to be civilian muskets though.

There was Captain Washington Upon a slapping stallion A-giving orders to his men I guess there was a million.

Make sure Don't charge your men in the forts but in open felid you can but time it right When the Enemy regiment is low on men then charge them

It looks like if enemy Soldiers sit on your guns for too long those guns are knocked out of action and can't be retaken. It makes some sense as it was standard procedure for troops to spike or disable captured artillery, especially if they couldn't use that artillery themselves or feared its recapture. Artillerymen would also spike their own guns if they knew those guns were about to be captured in order to deny their use to the enemy. In fact it was the French cavalries failure to spike the British guns at Waterloo that allowed the British to constantly re-man their guns whenever the cavalry withdrew to regroup for another charge before withdrawing back to the infantry squares when the cavalry got too close.

Was wondering when you were going to realize that you can speed up construction of buildings. Costs money, but is necessary in most areas.

Excellent, now you have enough time to prepare for next phase. Can you rise new regiments from newly liberated towns? If you can, will that efect loyalty towards you?

Just trying to reduce some annoyance; I don't know if you look at these much, but when you look at an artillery unit, it will have a little cannon and musket icon somewhere, if you click the musket you can change the type of musket the unit uses. So you don't have to keep worrying about civilian muskets for your artillery units. Also, if you double right click on the name of a settlement, the units you've selected will walk over and garrison without you having to wait until they get there and hitting the button. If you click on a territory (not a city/fort, but the literal land), there will be a silhouette on the bottom left of the screen. If you click on it, you can assign an officer that will increase 1 of a couple different stats for that whole region for 2 weeks. I used it for construction, I think it was like 1,000 gold to add 1.6 construction points to Albany or somewhere over there for 2 weeks

That was the worst representation of Saratoga I have ever seen, lol ...Saratoga was 2 Battles... the British attacked in 3 columns at Freemans Farm and tried to fight in the woods 6 times all day long. The 500 yard long series of breastworks and redoubts were built as Burgoyne sent for help and waited. Journals talk of dogs fighting at night over the bodies and the trees alive with the sound of turkey calls, as the rebels mark our positions. Saratoga could be it's own game.

I imagine you can also play as the British?

England invaded in the south in november with 6800 men. This did not hapoen in your game. Lucky you

You have some towns that produce horses they show up on the map when the day passes. Also the Thomas Jefferson event was to lower taxes by 1% so no more taxes

Your artillery is less effective when they're all clumped on top of each other like this,17:05. There needs to separation between them so they can still concentrate fire without their fields of fire being blocked.

You can cheese the game and drag a line across lake Champlain with units to help secure northern New York and they will cross it.

Those are construction points, and New Haven is the best early game. As you recruit units and drive down population it hurts construction points. Construction points affect building speed of the brick and mortar stuff as well as the infrastructure stuff.

Logistics unlocks any potential infrastructure slots that are locked and makes roads better and adds roads.
